Budapest International College (LG)

Budapest International College (BIC) is a private pathway provider in Budapest, Hungary. It is not a degree-awarding university: it operates as a foundation college and as the admission office for a group of Hungarian technology, business and sports universities, preparing international applicants for direct entry to partner degree programmes. BIC delivers university foundation programmes lasting one or two semesters, offered as English Foundation, Business Foundation, Professional Foundation and intensive or combined tracks. These courses build academic English alongside the subject knowledge needed for engineering, information technology and business study, and successful completion leads to progression into a partner university's bachelor's programme without a separate entrance examination. Alongside teaching, the college handles the full admission service for its partners, including interviews, entrance testing, document preparation and student visa support. Named partner institutions accessible through the BIC application portal include the Hungarian University of Sports Science and Dennis Gabor University, with progression routes advertised to a wider group of Budapest universities. Teaching takes place at the CEU Residence and Conference Center on Kerepesi ut, a site that combines classrooms with dormitory rooms, a restaurant, cafeteria, study rooms, sports courts, a swimming pool and gym.
